SURESH KUMAR P
As an artist, I always engage myself in my close environment. I believe in Indigenous very much because it is the major inspiration for an artist. Nature is the source of energy for every existence in life.
The synchronization between nature and me takes place only when I hold my brush, pencil or a tool to make an attempt for a piece of art that is when I feel more towards nature ( Being myself). I explore forms and colours in nature, which enriches my mind through my keen observation. As I have been overwhelmed by the source of it which stimulates my urge to give a form to it. And it is such a vast area where you learn every dimension of life and existence. Colours are the major inspiration to me. Because we get attracted by the colour at first sight, then later we tend to feel the texture, surface and volume. This is how our senses react to anything. India is known for its diversity and it’s also a colour-rich nation. I always start my painting with no prejudice, I let the process lead to the act of painting, which is not a very conscious effort. I have been overwhelmed by the spirit which I gain in the process of making a work of art. I love to retain the spirit, but I hardly succeeded then I realized it is only momentary. I have been longing for the moment which is momentary.
